Mr. Donald Garner, who is the Recruitment Manager of the NYC Department of Education will be at the Brooklyn Campus of Long island University on November 27, 2012 between the hours of 5 and 6:30 p.m., in the Pratt Building, Room 251. He will be speaking on the present and future hiring needs of the NYC Department of Education, and more. Information will also be shared on how to receive your initial teaching certification in two to three semesters, along with scholarship information, how to become a graduate assistant and how to apply for federal student loan forgiveness as an educator or counselor.
